Steal my 3-step process to self-audit your copy! ✏️

Updated: May 17

So that it doesn’t suck before you hit publish!

1️⃣ Read your copy out loud. This is a great way to catch awkward phrasing or sentences that don't flow well. If you stumble over a particular sentence out loud, people will have to read it a handful of times in their heads for it to make sense. The goal is to get your point across without any hiccups instantly. 💁🏻‍♀️

2️⃣ Cut the fluff, mother fluffers. When reviewing your copy, ask yourself if every word is necessary. Are there any phrases or sentences that don't add value? Cut those suckers out to make your copy more concise and impactful!

3️⃣ Put yourself in your audience's shoes. When you're writing copy, it can be easy to get caught up in your own perspective—especially if you’re a fire sign like me.💁🏻‍♀️

Take a step back and ask yourself: would my audience find this interesting or helpful? If not, it might be worth rethinking your approach. I know it can be a pain in the coochie, but trust me when I say — taking the time to self-audit your copy is ALWAYS worth it, so that you can consistently create content that truly resonates with your audience and drives results. 🚀
