The Content Haus Approach to Getting Ahead

Listen — as much as my stubborn Aries ass hates to admit it sometimes… 😂

Working ahead truly is an act of self-love and self-care.

We at Content Haus embrace unique ways of creating, problem-solving, and doing the work. But that means you actually HAVE to do the work, and life? Well, we all know how fickle she can be. So working ahead really is where it’s at — especially if you have big goals and dreams that can directly be tied to your work.

It took us some time, but we’ve finally nailed it down to a T(K) 😘

⚡️Step 1: Content pillars. Define the types of content and topics you want to share with your audience. Keep it to around 6 maximum.

⚡️Step 2: Define your monthly/quarterly focus. Depending how far ahead you like to plan. Remember to keep it simple! 1–2 high-level areas of focus is the sweet spot.

⚡️Step 3: Brain dump. Just get it all out there — the good, the REALLY good, the bad, and the ugly.

⚡️Step 4: Write regularly. Make writing a habit, even if it's just a few minutes a day. This will help you stay consistent and avoid burnout.

⚡️Step 5: Use tools and resources. I’m lookin’ at you, ChatGPT. Find the planning, design and writing tools that work best for you.

⚡️Step 6: Phone a friend (AKA, your audience). Why not go directly to the source? Get direct feedback from your audience to help you build relationships, get valuable feedback on your content, and suggestions for what they want to see next.

Speaking of tools and resources… we just so happen to be content production experts. 😏

What better way to get ahead on your content than to let someone take it off your plate?
